A preparation for Cambodian Embassador to Japan to visit Cambodian students in Kansai

My first glance on these pictures I could not identify who the persons are. Once I looked closer and closer, I realized a lady wearing the pink shirt is my wife and Tin Tin's Momy. Unbelievable, she is so stylist. I thought she just learned from my lovely daughter.

My new bag

Haa, my new bag and my belt is complementary.

Exchanged receipe of Cambodian menu-Chicken rice

Jica Hyogo International Center has been providing a special program of different countries food menu for the daily serve in its canteen. The coming July is the turn to offer a monthly serve for Cambodian food.

There has been recommended a menu of chicken with rice for the daily menu for one month period serve by a JICA volunteer who had experienced living in Cambodia. Ms. SAKAI SONOKO was a voluntary serving as a primary school teacher at Oddor Primary School in Kampong Cham.

Since this menu was selected, I have been approached for a detail receipe. Then, on 19 June 2009, I was invited to taste the first cook. Meantime, I have prepared a set of this menu which contains chicken with rice and pickle, incidentally, the picture of pickle was not look good due to the limited of time for decoration.

Proudly brought of self-made set, I was warmely welcome by receiptionist and administration devision of JICA staff into its canteen. Suprisingly, the set of same menue offered by a professional chef at JICA inspired me of the innovative idea of plate decoration for this menu. They really made a difference. I really admired them.

Somehow it was a very tiny point but it was really touching my heart and my mind, I have observed for every corner of the actions. Following the experimental techniques and common practices does not mean a bad idea, however, try and error is worth for considering.

Be with me from this moment to try the new things. Make changes and challenges the new things for a better life, every one!!! go go go!!!

My menu, bye bye strawberry and welcome cherry

Smile Pachenh dentist

Thru skype on Jun 14, 09

Saturday, June 14, 2009 we were chatting with Kon Tin and we noticed that our lovely daughter is growing very fast both mentally and physically. She has learned many new words with clear accent. It is surprisingly, she spelled out some words such as Suy Y Prolong Choap (Pass an exam) without anyone telling her. Other than spelling the new words, she is able to sing some songs including Chiness, English and Khmer songs. Ma has taught her a few songs - ME MEAN SANDAN CHET LA OR and SAAT CHEA NICH.

Today of thought

Normally, I always pop in a candy stand calls あかね to get some snacks for my break time at school. This morning I was really impressed by a group of 4 primary school students who, I guessed, are not more than ten years old. They are in the school uniform with the special red cap on top of their heads.

While I was in line to get a receipt of my purchase, I noticed that a group of students were walking back and forth in the shop. At the first glance, I thought, they may came as the normal customers. Suddently, a boy who was carrying a paper holder led the group to talk to the shop owner. Their behaviour was surely attracted my special attention at that moment.

You know what they were doing??? Incredable! incredable! the paper which were on the holder was the questionaires...they were conducting a survey about the business of this shop. Immediately, it recalled me of my past schooling experience at their age, especially of when I came to understand about what survey is.

Along the way up to my campus, this became the topic of self -discussion which is comparing the curriculum of primary school education of this country with my country. Truely, this is a part of study tour which is included in its official curriculum. It starts to train their young chilren at really early stage aiming for group work responsibility, development of interpersonal skill of dealing with people out there in the society, I guess.

The concept of nature and nurture presents its very essential roles in this discussion, in the particular way that baby is just like a blank slate. Thus they need education. But why education is different from countries another, why developed country like Japan is successful doing such an important introduction, how about developing country such as Cambodia. All of these questions are not new. Both official and unofficial discussion about these occured most of time.

Optimistically, based on the principle of nature and nurture, I personally think skill development should be raised up at early age. Thus should such a program be gested considering for a sernior high school curriculum in our country with no mention about an equivalent level to education in Japan?

Lucky day, Tuesday of June 2nd, 2009

As a title of this picture suggests, it was my lucky day in this week - June 2, 2009. Unbelievably, I was attracted by this good-looking HP deskjet 948 printer.

That was really my first time to pick up the disposed printer and looked like a brand new, which is rather no more in needful by the graduated, mostly likely, Japanese or international students who will be moving out of the compus.

At first sense, I thought, this may be just appearently new strong and may be at any point of un-repairable or not functioning. In contrast, surprisingly, it turned out to be remaining in over-expected good technical condition. Suddently, after testing by our helpful talented computer expert, Mr. Sim2nd.

Though, the printer did not come along with whole set of its necessary accessaries-missing all wired connection cables. However, it presents with an exiting readable black and white ink. Because this is a color printer, people say its ink must be very expensive ink. Any way, the printer looked so attractive to me and it will bring me the best of luck for the rest of my study, hahha.

Surely, it will be right here to smooth the process of my reading. From now on, I may find no more excuse, of which my eyes may feel pain after keeping a long reading through laptop, to cheat myself because of my lasiness. Gambarimasu ne !!!

A visit of Sovechea to Tin Tin

Sochea spent a time to pay a visit to Tin Tin at the last weekend which was May 30, 2009.

Thank so much to Y Leakha, on the one way, for a pop-in visit which creates an enjoyable times for Kon Tin to have Sovechea playing with. Plus, on another way, with being a sense of memory to take these two pictures as attachment for Mommy.

Seemingly, Kon Tin's possession may not be easily grabbed by others. Look! she is tightly holding her mixed color of pink and purple styled bollon. Hahhahha, dont fight for this with me bong sovechea (^0^)

A regular weekend happilly chit-chat with my most lovely little angle this Sunday was a so remarkable notice of her healthily quick physical growth, since she was weared in a rather schoolgirl uniform which is white short sleeve t-shirt complemented with a nice blue jean-skirt. From the skype interaction, she is also quite mature of making a communication, singing songs (chinese song-me tainh mean san dann chet la-or, khmer song-sa-art chea nich...) and telling a folk story in a very simple way.

Moreover, these two photos are even more evidently shown a ready-schooling physical condition of these two kids. Y Leakhena is planning to register Sovechea to kindergaten in this coming school year, thought, he will be almost 4-year at the end of the year. How about little Tin Tin, hahha who is a year younger than him, should she be prepare for day care^^. Intention. Intentionally mommy is seeking a way to make you ready at school as well na. You will have more friends!!! (^o^)
