My room at Hyogo International House

Located nearby JR Nada, given 1-2-8 Wakinohama-cho, chuo-ku, Kobe-shi, Hyogo-ken, 651-007 as official address, Hyogo International House is a semi-private dormatory which is listed under one of KOBE university domatories.

Althoug this dorm is rather much expensive than any of fully public dorms, this dorm remains popular and attracts most of the international students for many reasons.

The first is its location. It takes just five minutes walk from JR Nada, hence, most of the residents gives its nick name as Nada dorm. More interestingly, it exists many convient stores surround, a one futher west-stop toward the downtown, Sannomiya which is the biggest shopping areas, just to name a few.

The second is in-house facilities. Its study friendly environment, various kind of common services such as an availble of common kitchen, bed cover and blanket clearning service, and security guard service lead it become one of the first of many international students' choice.

Moreover, each room is equipped with many needed study facilities such as table, chair, desktop light... and daily necessity equipment such as shelves, cupboard and closet, particularly a nice refrigeration, these are not to mention about a nice and looked hygened bathroom. All of these make a stay of international students so confortable.

Nevertheless, a very warm blanket for winter and a soft summer blanket which are arranged for seasonal needs together with a nice medium sized bed makes my first few nights too short. Especially, at the weekend, all might easily fall in love with all of these stuff and never want to get up.

The third which is one of the rationales is the environment which is surrounding by many same nationality studends. This may be the most important factor for away-living family woman and a loanly person. Smiling and happy face of other surroundings may help to reduce a stress of homesick and a worry of academic works.

All in all, this also becomes my first choice of thought. I have been offered this residence permission at the beginning of March. Due to a factor of consideration on the contract's term and condition of my previous residence at Rokkomichi, and I have decided to move-in on April 30, 2009. Last but not lease, the new environment here makes a very long of 24-hour runs a little bit faster.

p.s. the last picture is the view through window of my room. The buidings in the picture are just as private appartments.
