CANADA LYNX AAT

WHAT I FOUND:
- Scientific name: lynx Canadensis
- They can see up to 250 feet!
- Lynxes eat snowshoe hares, mice voles grouse, 
red squirrels and carrion
- Their lifespan is up to 15 years
- Adults are 10 to 25 lbs.
- They are being hunted for their soft fur
- They are very similar to bobcats except Lynxes have
longer tufts of fur on their ears
- They are endangered  because of habitat destruction
- They are mostly hunting at night
- when they get closer to their prey
they chases them
- Lynxes can be found in Alaska, Canada(obviously), Rocky mountains/cascades,
Washington, Montana, Minnesota, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon,
Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York,
Michigan and Wisconsin
- They use downed woods for denning
